Vestas receives order for 16 turbines for Poland |

Vestas has received an order for 16 units of the V90-2.0 MW wind turbine for the project Inowroclaw, located in the central part of Poland. The order has been placed by the German developer EAB Projektbau GmbH, which has close connections to local partners in Poland who are having a number of projects in the pipeline for the coming years.
"We have very positive expectations for the future for wind power in Poland, and it is a great pleasure for us to partner with EAB Projektbau GmbH," says Mr Kenneth F Kolvits, Sales Director of Vestas Poland Sp.z.o.o., and continues: "This order again stresses the customer’s confidence in Vestas’ MW turbines. The contract consists of supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline CompactTM SCADA system, a condition monitoring system as well as a five-year service agreement. Vestas in Poland Vestas Poland Sp.z.o.o. is responsible for sales, installation, service and maintenance of wind power plants in Poland and the Baltic States. Vestas is employing more than 35 employees in Poland and the Baltic States, and is currently providing service for more than 10 wind power plants. |
